We are the manufacturer and distributor of the 'MML' brand of homogeneous porcelain, mosaic and ceramic tiles. In line with our business expansion plans, we are seeking a highly motivated, capable and resourceful Malaysian to join our team for the following position as:-
PROCESS PLANNER
(Johor – Kluang)
Requirements:
- Degree in Process Engineering/ Production Operations Management or related discipline. Exposure to network scheduling techniques is highly desirable
- More than 5 years' experience in industrial planning environment would be added advantage
- Good knowledge in industrial fields i.e. operations management and business administration
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent Planning and Organizing skills
- Computer knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Able to work in a manufacturing environment, monitor the production cycles with excellence.
- Liaise with Planner of Logistics, Manufacturing Managers, Purchasing & Store, Engineering, Maintenance, Finance and production process department to develop master schedule of the production planning.
- Establish the sequence and lead time of each operation to ensure the given schedule of the product list is met and products are produce in an efficient and timely manner.
- Create analysis of production specifications and plant capacity data and performing calculation to determine the best exploitation of the manufacturing processes.
- Assign the most suitable production line according to the product that need to be produced and to the ideal exploitation of the plant with the lowest unit costs.
- Ensure the qualities of the products are good and meet the high expectation of the company and customers.
- Prepare and maintain detail reports throughout the production cycle ensuring that all parties are fully aware of the production status.
- Work closely with Production Managers to handle exceptional urgency matters or to expedite operations that alter schedules to meet unforeseen deviations.
- Work closely and coordinate with the store team to expedite the placement of raw materials according to the production planning.
